You can 100% forget about that ever happening. Ask them for a price next time you are there. EVERYTHING at VIR is expensive.

They were only using half of the available space in one field, and there was a second field nearby that was much larger. The second field had been used for a "european-style rally" school and already had a nice course laid out.

fastest time of the weekend was 26.4 or somethign liek that. i ran a 27.000(this i beleive were stop watched times also). colin jumped in my obs and ran a 26.7 or something like that. On sunday there was a lot of loose stuff built up. still was fun.

I was right behind you with a 27.3, but of course in a real event they'd add up all the times... The loose stuff was a real speed killer in the corners too.

ahh, ok.. from google maps that field did look a bit big. but i was curious why it was a mid 20's course. lol.

makes sense.

but yeah. i wouldnt be surprised if they over charged the hell out of us.

man it would be great to have VIR as one of our event locations. will probably bring in a good amount of traffic from northerners.
