well that just depends on budget.

the more you get, the more you pay.

you could just change out springs, but then again, with worn out shocks you might as well swap them too.

and vice versa.

IMO its always good to have a good shock/spring setup instead of just one or the other

BTW you're looking at about 45mins-1 hour from chapel hill.

its off of 40, exit 319. takes right bout 30 mins from Raleigh (half of that time is getting to 40). So if you're close to 40 you can just hop on and go.

I was preregistered for the canceled Saturday event. Is it possible to get more specific directions?

From Raleigh:

* Take I-40 to exit 319.
* Turn left at the end of the ramp and cross the bridge.
* Continue for about 1/2 mile and turn right onto Raleigh Rd at the stoplight.
* Continue on Raleigh Rd for several miles, going straight at the first stop sign (crossing Elevation Rd).
* About a mile after the stop sign, take the first left onto Old School Rd.
* Immediately after the second paved road on the left (Gum Swamp Rd), turn right onto a gravel path next to a row of mailboxes.
* The site is about 1/4 mile down on the left. SPEED LIMIT 25!

Just FYI- anywhere on the thscc.com site where you see a site name mentioned (calendar, prereg, info pages), the site names are actually links to the directions page for that site. They're also available from the site menu by hovering over the "Rally" button on the left-hand side, then "Directions to...."

i say, you should.. put the transmission together in such a way.. that you have a semi automatic sequential tranny, like you have in the full on rally cars. :twisted:
