First off Hi all. I am finally a registered club member and look forward to meeting more of you at events this year.

Has everyone heard about the event at ERS in Florida in May. Check out www.gorally.com for details. 6 stages each 6 miles long. I'm already registered and wanted to see if anyone else is interested in competing.

Dang, I got all excited about a possible Florida vacation that did not include Disney World. Then I read the rules: all vehicles must be road legal. That lets out the Dirtmaster 1600.
It is a long way to go for a one day event, but 36 miles of rally seat time looks pretty good.
The restriction on navigators also is a bummer. Where's the fun in driving really fast if there is no one in the right hand seat screaming?

If I had free time and extra disposable income, I would SO be in for this event, sounds like a blast (even with some questionable safety issues...)

Too far to drive for just 36 miles. I got about 20 miles in at the T&T/rallyx at BMW farm a couple of weeks ago.

For those of us that don't have a big backyard to play in this is a good chance to drive these kinds of roads over such a long distance. 36 miles for $75 is a pretty good deal. plus I need a vacation and this gives me an excuse for a road trip to the sunshine state. hopefully by then i'll have enough rallyx experience to not wreck my car. looking forward to seeing you all in rougemont.

$75 seems like a hell of a deal.

if you're down there, then why not.

we got to FL in 6 hours once (to the bordeR). its not a terrible drive.

if you can make a "trip" out of it, then perhaps... then that $75 turns into $750. lol
