My money is on Kendt to actually run the race and be able to walk away. You do have to stop sometime Walter.

That is supposed to be a secret!

I have $10.00 that The DOG beats Kendt's red beater in a drag race.

I'd agree, but only because his Prelude is an auto. Autos suck...really.

Not in drag racing! Almost all the fast cars are automatics in drag racing. A A4 Camaro exactly like my M6 would win everytime. They can launch harder and never miss a gear. I would be catching them at the finish, but would still lose.

I'm not sure how much HP or torque The DOG has, but with a 3.0 V6, I'm pretty sure it is more than Kendt's red car. If there is no driver error, I win.

Thanks. That makes sense.

Kendt, The DOG makes plenty of power! :P The 3.0 V6 has a ton of torque. It is still a heavy car with heavy, old drivers. I challenge you to a drag race in your red car! Wheel to wheel, mano y mano! The loser buys lunch.

It'll be at the first RallyX, punk  - automatic means I got a pseudo-linelock, and the killer (non)VTAK YO!

Dr. Punk to you!!!!!

I'll be there. Dirt or pavement? 1/8 or 1/4 mile? :P

Who wants to place a bet?

"When the Green light pops, the BS Stops"

Can I get a piece of this action?

Thanks for all the suggestions here, oddly enough after driving the car at speed on the street some, the tires seem to be hold air much better. I might try to get a hold of some of the black tire goop/sealer. Anyone think putting tire sealer in the tire would help?

you can try that tire sealer, but the shop you take it to might not like you very much (depending on how the sealer turns out) :x

but yeah, it wont hurt, just make sure you keep driving the recommended miles or else it may settle and throw your balance off.

its a chance though, its happened to me. but then ive had it work without messing anything up.

so yeah, give it a try

I would not try the tire sealer, unless you think it's leaking in the tread area. Those tire sealers (Slime, Fix-a-flat, etc) are designed to slosh around in the tire until they thicken or set. The instructions say the drive the car right away after you shoot that goo into the tire- to spread it around. I don't see how that stuff would help at all in your situation (again, assuming it's leaking at the bead).

Bead sealer or another round of cleaning + reseating the bead.......or a combination of the 2 get my vote.

Yeah, that's kinda how I was seeing it too. The centrifugal force from driving it would take the sealing agent away from the area I'm trying to seal.

Exactly - we had a leak in a truck tire a couple years ago and tried a can of that crap... turns out the leak was actually the valve stem seals, and the goop did zero good.
