the tran siberia rallye 2008 was on tv today. i tivo'ed it so i could autox. but if anyone wants to compete next year. it is open to anyone with a offroad vehicle.. that can comply to the safety specifications. no rules on gas or diesel. you know my preference, oil burner.. simply because the water in russia's swamps wont hurt the motor provided a snorkel is used. (heck, with the heat from the turbo, it might boil the water). i dont think i have the money to compete.. however ryan millen is representing the usa.
