So I have a set of these laying around the garage that came with the race car for rains ona dry track (the primo setup).

Should I bolt these onto the street Civic for the rallycross? They *are* DOT rated and they are *not* "rally tires".

:)

Good question, and the same answer applies to anyone planning to come run with us. If the tires you intend to compete on meet the definition of "street tires" posted in the Ralllycross Rules under the "Classes" section http://www.thscc.com/rallycross/info/rules.html#classes, then sure, bring them on out. The only factor is the spacing between the tread blocks (going around the circumference) must be 0.22 inches or less. If you can slip a .22 caliber shell in there, the tires won't pass, and we won't let you run them, so don't act surprised!

You might want to save those Dirt stockers for the Roebling event, it looks like there is a chance that we will be doing a drivers school in the middle of a hurricane.
