2.5RS v3.0

Christine and I took possession of a 1999 2.5RS today. For what we paid, and with all the performance parts and JDM YO! appearance parts, I half expected it to blow up on the way to my house, but so far, so good. It's a little grimy under the hood, but everything seems to work okay. Needs a clutch, some fluid changes, and it could probably use a rear LSD (99 came with open diffs), but that's about it. Some of the lightweight and other rallyx-specific parts from the 2000 will be moved over to the 99, and the 2000 will be retired - again - to daily driving duty.

Here's the for sale ad if you want to see the mod list or pics:

Can't remember if we posted anything about it here, so I'll add that we traded the 07 WRX and the 05 Forester XT for a 2008 Forester XT Sport in World Rally Blue on Saturday, too. So we have two new toys to play with. :D

Did you give me the new avatar? Or was it some other retard? I deleted the wide version because it made viewing threads annoying, but this one is much better.

Not me, it was the easter bunny. Let's just say that your last avatar made the mods have some discussions about avatar rules.

Kevin, you do know that there are other brands besides Subarus out there, right? I think you should look for a seven-step program.

:P

The next car will probably be an E36 M3 sedan.

Yeah, and people say I have AADD, I guess in Kevin's case its SADD since there is only one automobile manufacturer involved.

You mean this isn't tasteful? Looks like it tastes good to me.

I don't want your crappy black pos. I want the pretty bright blue one. (or green would do)

I did not really like black at first either.
