We'd just have to have at least one event a month to pay for it :) Not that that would be a bad thing :)

Have you guys ever thought about the parking areas at Rockingham? Or are they too hard-packed and gravel-y?

We had one -- and only one -- event across the street in the overflow parking at the drag strip a few years back. The surface sucked -- totally sandy, like driving on the beach -- or those nightmares where you're trying to run and can't get anywhere.

Haven't looked into the speedway parking --- gravelly and hardpacked? Me likey :) Although with the sale and change of ownership I doubt anyone's opening doors for us right now.

FWIW - if anyone knows of large, hardpacked, gravel areas we can use -- personally I'd love to run on one. Not my call though, I'm not a VP :)

I don't think the speedway parking is as sandy, but I'm not sure. I think you should go ahead and sign up for the Rockingham event and come check it out for yourself in October ;)
