Kieran and I are the event co-chairs for this Saturday's "Beat the Heat" rallycross. Unfortunately work commitments are preventing me from helping to design & set up a course on Friday. This is a first for Kieran so is there anyone out there willing to lend a hand and some advice so we don't royally screw up your day?

Thanks.

Simon

I have a flexible schedule now, so I could probably get there around 3pm. That would leave plenty of time to set up and play before dark.

Simon - Have Kieran give me a call tonight, I'll give a brain dump on running on those fields. There are several challenges that we learned a lot about last time, I'm sure it will help him get through those faster.

Actually, assuming I'm bringing the bus out there, I'll need someone to give me a ride from BMWF back to my car. The bus is back at Luther Rd, I assume?

I should be able to give you a ride Carl. Let me know what time you would like me to pick you up and what day.

If possible, I would love to get a sneak peak at the course so I know where I want to set up cameras on Saturday

Thanks Ash! We'll be doing setup on Friday afternoon, probably starting around 3pm (since we've got daylight now) and contniuing till we get the job done. I can't really predict when that'd be, since it always takes longer than you'd think. But if you wanted to get there around 5, I'm sure we'd still be there and you'd have plenty of time to scope out the situation.

Thanks again,

Due to support issues at work, I may not be able to make it to the rallyX setup on Friday. :x Kevin, if you still think you can get there by 3 then that would handle the leadership/guidance part, but we'd still need someone to get the bus from its home in Apex out to BMWF.

Can anyone help there?

Thanks!

As far as I know, I can be there around 3pm. Can't do anything about the bus, though.

FYI: We had 4/10'' of rain at the BMW Farm today. I hope this helps with the dust clouds.

As dry as it's been I'd doubt 4" wouldn't help, but something is better than nothing.

Maybe Ash would be willing to have you in her car instead of me? Even if not, I can probably still get to event setup, it just may not be until 6pm.
