That might be a good idea, if you're able to do it, Stephen. I'm waiting for Mike to call me back about the bus schedule. Only thing is we'd have to be there a bit early on Sun morning because, as I'm sure you remember, we need to place a lot of extra cones to mark off the pit and spectator areas. But a couple people should be able to do that in 10-15 minutes, and certainly before any serious number of speccies show up (if any do...).
Thanks!
Just let me know, I'm free that weekend and would be happy to do it if it would help us try out the new site this year.
That's great, Stephen- let's do it. How would we work the vehicles? I guess if you drove your truck with the GL in tow, and the dirty cones, you could leave truck and trailer at the site, and I could give you a ride back to your house. Then get hook up with the bus sometime Sat evening or early Sun morning and bring it up to OCS? That's an awful lot of Stephen getting inconvenienced- is there a way we could streamline that?
For example, might there be someone who lives near OCS going to the Street Survival thing already, who could drive the bus "home" and leave it at OCS? That'd require a 2nd person to drive their car, tho. Or perhaps someone else could volunteer to drive the bus up there early Sunday morning?
