I wasn't planning on bringing the General Lei to set up....I was going to leave that to one of the other owners this time (keeping my fingers crossed that either Mitch or Steve was planning on attending). Then I would just drive my truck to Kevin's and load up the cones Saturday morning and meet you there.

I figured I could get Judi to drive me to the bus that evening and then I could just bring it Sunday morning. If Kevin and Christine can't take the bus back that night, I could probably arrange for Judi to pick me up at thier place Sunday night. It's not really an inconvenience....I don't have anything else going on. I wouldn't complain if my gas got covered though.

Stephen - this is great. So it sounds like I can just get the bus over to the Raleigh PD site any time earlier in the week, and you can take it from there on Saturday PM?

If that is so, that is excellent. We will just need to work out bus handoff at the Raleigh PD site on Saturday evening. I assume we'll be done around 5-6pm.

That works for me. I can keep it at my place on Saturday night no problem.

Fantastic- thanks guys!

I'm still trying to get a hold of Kim at OCS, but she reiterated after the last time that we were welcome to run there on Dec 3rd, so I feel sure that we're good to go.

Phew, man, I'd be happy just attending. :( However, Amy and I are hosting a party the night before, and I haven't had time to do anything to get ready. My new job is a _huge_ timesink.

Cheers,
Anders

I really don't have the time, as I'm well behind on getting Sandblast ready. As a comparison, last year the supps were up 107 days before the event, this year, 79. So that tells me I'm a month behind.

I started it up just the other day, it runs fine. :) It's not registered, so getting it to the rallycross would mean getting the MGB off the trailer, (and later, back ON the trailer, and in its dead battery and inoperable choke that would be quite a chore) loading up the rally car and trailering. Unfortunately, the greatest benefit to rally is if I spend the same 12 hours working on Sandblast.

Cheers,
Anders

ps: Carl: I promise you can drive it at the next rallycross I bring it to. :D
