I was tempted when I saw that ad a few weeks ago... But looking into the motor specs it's disappointing, like 150 hp? Also, parts availabllity is a little iffy since the car is so rare.

But I'd love to see it out at a rallycross! Someone buy it!

PS: Mike's new rules for car purchases:

(1) There must be a LOT of them made (cheap parts!)
(2) it must be a popular platform in some form of motorsports (ie used parts availability, go-fast parts), and
(3) it must have a pretty wide enthusiast following (troubleshooting and modification support)

M3, Miata, and Impreza fit these rules well.

Good points. It's still a pretty neat car.

There is also an 89 XT6 for sale with lower miles that you could use for a parts car. :)

(4) It must not be a Honda.
