Matthew has clinched the 2006 Production GT Championship now, thanks to Tanner Foust's DNF at Colorado Cog last month (see http://www.321govideo.com/cog_2006.php for video) which prevented Tanner from having a car ready for this event, but MJ will still be going for the win this weekend in Michigan's Upper Penninsula.

They had some snow there this week, but it looks like it's gone now. However, this event can get pretty slick and muddy, and rain is in the forecast for later this afternoon and early tomorrow. Should be interesting!

The event doesn't start in earnest until around 3:30pm today, but some hours after that the first "live updates" should start to trickle in to the Rally America site (depending on the whims of the satellite uplink spirits) at http://www.rally-america.com/Update/day/day_index.html

We'll be watching!

Congrats MJ on a solid finish to the season - 1st PGT, 5th overall, only a few seconds out from 4th overall!

Yes, an excellent run for MJ and Kim in some challenging conditions!

A short video clip of them on the Brockway Mountain stage (their average speed: 75.59mph!)
