Mainly regarding the All-terrain Acclaim, but also for general info...

Any rally beater stored at our place that misses two events in a row will either need to be picked up and stored somewhere else, or set on fire for our amusement.

8)

I completely don't mind the ones that actually get used, but this ain't a junk yard. (although it's hard to tell by looking at my brother's lot  )

This rule is in effect as of the next rallyx, so if the car is actually raced, it can stay. But if you guys miss yet ANOTHER event, we're blowing it up.

I give you permission to blow it up, as long as you ask Dr. Z! Please record any demolition!

Oh wait, it isn't my car.

I propose that when (not if) said car asplosion occurs, that it:

a) happens on a weekend
b) happens after dark
c) involves alcohol

I understand that Fred's Wyfe enjoys the Lite beer from Miller.

For destruction you might want to look at this site for ideas. Most of their videos include junk cars and alcohol.

PJ and Dan - You guys need to show up so I can have somebody else in my class. I've done a little work to "The Dog", so I'm ready. Show up, unless you are afraid of an old fat man with a bad heart in a POS!!!

Yeah, then found $2.00 in change in it = $98.00 car with a $120.00 battery! The car's sunroof had leaked for 2 years and it was parked. Even after removing the interior and spraying it in bleach, it smelled BAD. I've tried everything to kill the smell and it is OK now after sitting open in the summer sun.
Advice - #1 Never change the gas tank or work on the exhaust of a car in your driveway on jack stands that has been rallycrossed. Dirt falls down in your face, in your ears and mouth.
#2 Change the gas tank in a car that has set up for two years before you ever start it up.

Heh. Reminds me of the '65 Jeep Wagoneer I had once. I took it in to one of those speedy muffler clone places to get rid of that "open exhaust" sound caused by having, essentially, no intact exhaust past the headers. They put it up on the hoist and were about to cut off the old system with their torches when they noticed the gas dripping from the rusty tank.

(Made by the Kaiser Jeep Corporation, in case you're wondering. 230 ohc inline 6. On reflection the torches at the exhaust place might have damaged the 1" plywood replacement floor anyway. I eventually took it to the old fashioned local repair shop who formed some sort of exhaust system, found a gas tank and made it fit, made all new brake lines, and did a whole bunch of other stuff for a few hundred bucks. I quote the mechanic, spoken with admiration: "It's like a Model A. When you press the pedal, you never know which wheel will start braking first.")
