Bret says he pulls a trailer across that "bridge" and didn't seem too concerned about it, but if you're at all unsure of your ability to place your trailer tires within a few inches, I'd suggest you go around. There's a big drop on either side of this puppy and it would make for a Bad Day if your loaded trailer slipped off the edge.

We'll be doing setup on Thursday, and I'll try to take a couple pix of the hazard and get a width measurement to give y'all a better idea of what we're talking about.

In the meantime, Bret may want to chime in with his opinion.

Well, it's probably a good idea to just route everyone around through the field we normally use, to avoid the washed out bridge. As Carl mentioned, it would make for a REALLY bad day if someone were to misjudge the bridge and go too far to the "bad" side- whether towing or not.

We'll get a clear route marked off with cones, flags and whatever else we have handy.

Just keep in mind that you will be cutting through a pasture- so take it slow and easy to minimize bumps and hidden obstacles... :)

Bret.

Good event today! 39 drivers, the weather was perfect, we had almost no delays and were done with trophies (and birthday cake for Simon! ) by 2:30! Thanks to all for the work that went into making this run so smoothly!

I'll add more detail later, but if anyone else wants to comment, please feel free.

I should be able to get results up tomorrow (particularly if it's raining... :-) )
