The THSCC calendar says that the next event is in Clayton. However, the pop up directions on that page go to Laurinburg.

I assume that the BMW farm is actually in Clayton? Are the Lauringburg directions just some default that goes in there? (All the Clayton events use the Lauringburg directions.

And speaking of Laurinburg and things in that direction... remember when we had that rallycross at Rockingham? Have we ever tried to go back there?

Cheers all,
Anders

Can't explain the direction's Anders, but yes the BMW farm is in Clayton.

I remember the Rockingham event, as does Kevin (we were discussing that today) and that was the only RallyX there, and as far as I'm concerned the last. I don't have the final say in that though of course so I could be proved wrong.

Nice to hear from you again BTW. :D

The bad links are on the (empty) event info pages. I'll try to get around to fixing them this weekend.

Where BMWs come to die

Technically, the BMW farm has a Clayton street address, a Smithfield phone number, and about 1/4 mile away people have a Benson street address. The area up the road from us, near I40/hwy42 where all the stores are clustered, is Clayton on one side of the road, and Garner on the other side.

I think we are officially in BFE.

A little more than a year ago, there was some noise being made by many of the locals to settle on a name for our community and start making the move toward getting a US Post office out here. They ran numerous polls in the local paper, and supposedly settled on "Cleveland Springs", but then someone did some further research and found there was already a Cleveland, NC, so we had to try again. Funny thing is, I haven't heard anything else about this in quite a while.

Bret.
