anyone interested to know what is going on at vmp, well, next month, on the 18th of march... they are having a mud sling, like 4x4s and such.. i think i might like to go watch, what the heck.. never been to a mud sling be4, might befun, now i know that nothing we own could compete, we do have a 4x2 ford explorer, but no real winch or lift kit or nice tyres or anything like that though, it is a truck for going to sandblast and moving days and all aroundhighway hauler type rig...
4.0 v-6, 2wd, nice towing package though, can tow a camping trailer rather well, though mind that tranny, the automatics on ford explorers aged 1997 or near about, they get hot, and my sentra would just sink like a rock.. so, i would only be spectating,..
shouldn't cost much to get in, i used to go to the import drags a couple times, parking in certain areas was free, walk in, pay a few bucks, and go have fun.. (a6 second 6 cylinder Toyota solara funny car is impressive, ) anyway, goto the vmp website and click on mud sling, anyone with large 4x4s and a love of mud should check these folks out, or, rentals are always fun too, anyway.. i just thought i would send this out, never been to a mud sling be4... also, is anyone familiar with ats diesel performance from bandimere Colorado? they have a diesel Cummings top
fuel dragster on biodiesel that went 7.98 at 167.98 miles per hour at pomona dragway, which is at a high altitude, so down near sea level, say like at Orlando raceway park, or rockngham, it could go much faster.. pretty impressive. cumminsracing.com
