If you want to be an event chair, post here or pm either me or Carl about it.

Are we trying to add a new location this year as well? Talk to Rich Fredrick about the ViR lot?

Great schedule! Thanks for keeping the auto-x overlap to a minimum. If it's not too much to ask this early, I don't suppose we could move the Saturday, Sept. 30th event to Sunday, Oct. 1st? I'm probably the only overlap (read: only one stupid enough) but I'll most likely be driving back from Topeka on Saturday the 30th and would love to make it to the last points rally-x. No biggie if not.

Thanks,

Jim

Jim, while i did not mean to insult you by calling you a "pavement Hack" does this mean you will be competing in rallyX this season? will you be running against The General Lei?

I ran the full season last year in SO4 with a Laser and the first 3 events of this year in SU2 with an MR2. I intended to run the full season but a tree fell in my driveway and hit the MR2 doing some damage to the left rear strut tower. I finally got all the pieces to fix it and had it (mostly) straightened out.

I am planning on running the full season next year but I'm not sure if I'll run the Laser or the MR2. It probably depends on what Carl and Rob wind up doing. Both cars still need a little work and tires so I'm in a little bit of a holding pattern. The Laser was slightly more fun to drive but I'd like the opportunity to try and prove that a rwd (albeit a strange one) car can compete in the SU2 class.

So to answer this and your previous post, yep, I'm bringing it! I just don't where it's being brought and I don't have the fancy picture of The Rock that Ryan has...

EDIT:

FYI- the 2006 prereg page is up, and registration for the Jan 28th event is now open!

edit: We're thinking the Jan event will be at Kevin's place, if it makes a difference to you, Vincent. I'll update the prereg page when I get home tonight.

Thanks Carl!

I'm preregistered every event and would be more than glad to co-chair as desired.

I will be at all of them for setup. I will just fill in as 'co-chair' when no one claims an event and you need someone to get it done.

- dow "co-chair at large"

You guys are OK - I take back all the bad things I said about you! :D

So does anyone want to claim a specific event (hint: the first one is coming up!), and we can update the first post to reflect that?

I will Chair with someone, but I don't really want to chair on my own. I guess I am just a better grunt than I am a leader. :)
