So who is driving what next season and what class and mods are you planning on doing?

I'll be in the rankinsmobile blue 2000 RS sans stickers. Hopefully in rally tire 4wd, whatever that class is going to be named next year. I'm going to soften the sway bars even more and (obviously) find some rally tires then leave it at that.

I see this on dowroa's sig: "2000 Impreza RS -- RM4 (?)" :o When did that come into the stable?

The General Lei crowd will still be in SU2 with the addition of new rubber and one new driver. Our drivers will be:

Vincent Keene
Stephen Westerfield
Mitch Moore
Steve Remchak
Cosby Wood

It is fictious... like the car ATM. We will see though. Legacy is still running strong, so no need atm.

Shouldn't this thread be about 2006 RallyX plans? :)

Legacy in SO4 || POS.

Is POS happening?

If Kevin annoys me enough, I might convert my STi into a rallyX car, but I dont think that will be happening this year. I put too much time into autoX setup to want to undo that too lightly.

I'll be running the RS with rally tires. Or maybe the FXT. Or maybe the STi. Or maybe I'll sell something and get something else & race that. Or maybe I'll co-drive something.

But seriously, 2.5RS will probably get stock STi suspension and run on rally tires. With street tires, the "stockish suspension" works ok, but that last event with the rally tires made me realize I need something stiffer.

I'll be in the Neon again, haven't decided between SU2 and NU2, though. Since I've got the rally tires, I suppose I might as well use them, but I'm not jazzed about being in a mniiscule class. I guess I'll be wherever Rob is running.

I plan to bring the MR2 back out in SU2. I hope Carl and Rob are running SU2 as well since I want another crack at them. I don't see myself buying rally tires anytime soon so if they do run SR2 (or whatever it's called), I may just bring the Laser back out and play in SO4.

Anybody talked to Rob to find out what he is planning on doing?

Jim

Rob liked hearing that we were allowing rally tires - but he's also into fun direct competition, so I'm not sure what he'll do. He's a member now, so he should pop in at some point, I guess. Might want to pm him in case he doesn't see this thread.

Those tires aren't legal for SO4, you'll have to go to N04. :P

Rally tires will be fun and effective. Let's at least you and me do rally tires and maybe some will follow our lead. I wouldn't award plaques with just 2 in the class though, but I think we have enough plaques by now. ;) Maybe we can find Feinberg some used rally tires. I've got some. Find out what diameter his wheels are. I've got some old 14s.

What do you say, Jim?

You guys have fun with that. :)

I'm not sure I want to run on old tires and I definitely don't feel like changing them at the event.
