OK, right at the end of Saturday's event we announced an extra, non-points event at Kevin's place on December 3rd. Since it's a non-points event we would allow rally tires and other knobby-type tires in the N* classes.

But here's the thing. I'm afraid a lot of people won't come because of Christmas parties, shopping, etc., and I don't want to end the year with a money-loser. The break-even point financially would probably be around 25 drivers if we don't do trophies or dash plaques.

The deal Kevin and I made is this: I'll put the event on the prereg page, and if we get a strong enough response we'll have it, otherwise we won't. The decision point is gonna have to be soon, like this weekend (maybe sooner, depending on what Bowie says), since the event would be the weekend after.

So, if you want to run this event, go here: http://www.thscc.com/rallycross/prereg_rallyx.html
and sign up soon!

I would be able to pre-register for Sunday but not Saturday. If this changes, let me know.

Either day is fine with me. If we have more people that can make it on Sunday then I am all for a Sunday event.

I'm looking forward to it. Either day works.

I may be jumping the gun a bit, but I made an extra event on Sunday, so if you can do either day, sign up for both (even if you prefer one). There would only be one event, but the idea is that the day with the most people entered would be when we'd have it. Kevin, do you know if your mom would be OK with an event on the 4th?

So if you've already signed up for Saturday, sign up for Sunday as well if you can.

I am finally not working the weekend of a rally x. Anyone have a car I can co-drive for a small fee? Is Kevin's place pretty smooth? I may be able to talk the Mrs in to letting me drive her car if it is not bumpy.

Plenty o' room in the Dirtmaster. Your more than welcome, I know its not a Subaru, but it gets the job done.

Well, Carl is out of town and has left the decision up to me, but looking at the entry lists today, it's obvious which day it's going to be.

Setup will be next Saturday, rallyx will be on Sunday.

And since this is a non-points event, those who show up for setup will get to run whatever they want for (lots of) course testing. 8)

We'll be running a different configuration from what we've done the past few times, with lots of big sweepers and something that we've never done before (but has been suggested many times by several people). The grass will be gone, so the whole field (except the very back and "first time" area) will be visible. So there will be plenty to see for spectators.

Christine will be grilling burgers and hotdogs.

We can do that on Saturday if you'd like.
