Found this on SCR's site. They are calling it a challenge instead of a championship.

Looks like this may be it for this year.

Anybody want to go? 8)

Well, if you weren't a smoker, I'd let you drive me out there so I could co-drive your car. But my sinuses wouldn't be able to take it. :(

We could always hook a motorcycle sidecar up to the trailer hitch somehow. Oh, wait; the exhaust fumes would probably be worse than the cigarettes.

If I haven't found a job by then, I'd definitely be up for it. It's on the way to Washington state, even.

The K-car Torsen diffs come in on September 6th. As of September 12th, I've got no responsibilities and unlimited practice time on 160 acres of pastureland up in Kentucky. Just need to get myself some good rally tires.

some photos from the event:

The burgundy Ranger rolled on Saturday, which shortened the day for everyone. The course was apparently setup with a lot of fast into slow stuff, and got severely rutted. If you look at the photos, you'll see other cars up on 2 wheels. Some nasioc people have told stories about being up on 1 wheel in 60mph sweepers during their fastest runs. :(

I'm even more glad I didn't drive all the way out there now.

Kevin this link is not complete.

The first step is admitting you have a problem. Only 11 to go. :D
