More details later, but I just wanted to announce that we've arrived on a new date & new location. This event was to be held at Rockingham on Mother's day, but after lengthy discussion we've changed everything.

Well, not everything - Mike Whitney will still be the event chair - if you'd like to co-chair with him, please let him know asap.

That's good news!! Better conditions, and closer to home, plus the possibilities of a better turn out. :cheer: Curious though, was there anything like a deposit that we may have lost from Rockingham in switching? Hope not.

There will be an optional water feature, jump, and a hot wheels style loop on this course.

Hey Mike,

Don't tell anyone about the "live cones" we're planning for this one, Kelly and I have been training the cows for the last week, and we bought a couple of gallons of Orange paint for them.....the little ones are sort of hard to see, but the Bull might do some serious damage- I see no need for penalty seconds for hitting one of these :)

OK, I've finally gotten around to updating the prereg page and club calendar with the new date and location. I just moved all the May 8th entries over, so if you'd signed up for that then you're all set.

Thanks!

Anyone interested in an Excellent Local BBQ Dinner after the RallyX?

Let me know & I'll call Stephenson's BBQ to set it up. Family Style dinner with BBQ pork, BBQ chicken, fried chicken, brunswick stew, slaw, potatos, etc with SWEEEEET TEA for <$10.00 w/ tip - All you can eat.

Yes, this is the kind of place that you can eat at after a long day of RallyX... or mowing the yard... or farming.

And for those that watch TV5 - their health rating is back to Grade A.

- Kelly (& Bret)

Hey Mike,

Need any help with anything on Saturday?

I'll be staying in Fayetteville Friday night and probably won't get there till late in the evening.

I can be available to help out on Satuday morning though.

Let me know by Thursday night since that will be the last time I will be near my computer.

Phillip.

We won't be setting up EVERYTHING on Friday. There will be plenty to do Saturday morning, so if you want to get there early & help, please do. :D

But be sure to get enough coursewalks this time! :P

Hey y'all, including my event co-chairs. Details will be forthcoming on setup and help needed, but not until Wednesday. This week I think I am busier than I have EVER been in my 7+ year career at IBM. Bad timing!

Just tell us what you need help on, and we are there for you. I know that work has not been that easy for me this week and this week is DEFINITELY crunch week for me (starting out with 12+.. yes!), but I think we will all do what we can so this doesn't have to be a one man show.

Let us know!

Whatever you need help with Mike, just let me know.

I surely will be getting in more than one walk though this time, I GUARANTEE!
