Hey y'all, including my event co-chairs. Details will be forthcoming on setup and help needed, but not until Wednesday. This week I think I am busier than I have EVER been in my 7+ year career at IBM. Bad timing!
Just tell us what you need help on, and we are there for you. I know that work has not been that easy for me this week and this week is DEFINITELY crunch week for me (starting out with 12+.. yes!), but I think we will all do what we can so this doesn't have to be a one man show.
Let us know!

Thanks Brian. Believe it or not, we would actually be in fine shape even if we start planning on Thursday. I just gotta get out the list of event responsibilities (on a thread in the autocross section if you want to find it BTW!) and start the brain going on what things have and haven't been done. Also still need to dig up the old Sat photo I have of the site and draw out the course flow tha Kevin and I came up with. Then brainstorm what will and won't work on the site given the terrain, where cables need to be run, ingress/egress from pits, plan grid location, and consider safety overall.
Most of our work will happen on Friday at setup. Getting a fun, safe, flowing course without turns so tight they tear up the ground AND plan it all to work in reverse will be the biggest challenge. All y'all that are helping with setup, and anyone experienced in course design, please plan to get there as early as possible (probably noon for me).
Also -- the bus is having some re-work done on the brakes in Wilson and we need to find someone who can shuttle it to Clayton on Fri AM at the latest. I think Vincent may have offered (have to check, kind of a blur). Any other takers? The bus is fun to drive
