I definitely learned something this weekend at the BMW Farm's Rallycross. Not the obvious thing; that I should maybe take more than one walk though of the course. :banghead:

I learned that I had a gift that I didn't know I had. I have the gift of making many people happy. I have never seen soooo many people soooo happy that I was doing sooooo badly. :toilet: You know who you are.

It made me all warm and glowy inside.

I'm glad I could help everyone out. :moon:

You can be sure I wasn't one of them, Phillip. I was hating it for you - and for me. I enjoy the competition with you, because I know that I'll really have to push to beat you. When you & Anders DNF'ed, I knew the competition was pretty much over, and the rest of the day I was just cruising - just needed to survive to the end, then I could go crazy during fun runs.

You're fast, and that means that people are gunning for you - and the only way some people can beat you is if you screw up. I know exactly how those people feel, having autoxed against Tom Hoppe for a couple of years. But if you're slow & you happen to beat somebody who's fast because they screwed up, does that mean you're any less slow?

I'm just pissed that you got that one clean run in the AM - otherwise, I would've had FTD on both courses...

I admit it, I was one of the happy people in the AM. But as Kevin said, it doesn't make me any better. You did have great runs, that finish cone was just a killer for your last run. That's OK though, you will be back up to snuff in May and I'll just have to hope for another DNF
