Thanks to NASA there are many stage rally event here in the southeast. This also means that there is a shortage of codrivers. I wanted to post a note here and see if there were people interested in learning to be a stage rally codriver. This is a less expensive way to get involved with stage rally. All you need is some skills, a strong stomach, a fire suit , and SA rated helmet.

Talk to me about it at the rallyx after next. Iwill be there witht he black merkur xr4ti rally car.

Hey Mattt,

I'd be very interested. I have three of the four requirements and I'm sure I can acquire the suit. I also have the rally-wannabe bug and I can't get enough of my son's Colin McRae on his xBox. Does that help? I can even imitate Colin's accent if it makes you drive better!

Simon,

You can borrow my suit if you want. I can bring it to the rallyX if you'd like to try it on. I need to wash it first though- it's still got champagne sprayed on it... :P

I have all of the requirements except for the experience part unfortunately. I have the rally bug severely. Now I have a car to rallycross. Would love to help at a rally if needed to gain some experience.
