Anyone got any pictures to share from Saturday, 2/5/05? :D

Had a great time everyone.

We sure did have our share of tire failures this weekend though. I hope everyone got home ok.

Yup, my card was up this weekend. Actually, the tires held up for me, but seemed to complain when somebody else <cough<Ryan<cough> took it for a spin. :)

50MPH for the spare? I dont think so! At least on the rear of a CRX, the itty-bitty donut spare handled 75 on the way home no problem.

Now to find some tubes......

Anders seemed to suffer the worst of it. Think he got 2 tires debeaded. Andrew lost one on the gti in the morning and we couldn't get it to seat well again, but thankfully the germans don't like to get too original on wheels. We were able to source one from Mike's 325 for the rest of the day. Just kept our fingers crossed that Dave wouldn't blow one while trying to keep the backend in the back :) Thanks guys.

That's what we did on the Dirtmaster ... and it seems to really be the ticket. I fully expect that enough dirt will wedge into the bead eventually and leak because of the abrasion.

Mark C @ HHW put them on, so he's one who knows where to source them and can install them without effing them up.

But so far, so good. Good grief, how many runs does that poor car have on it now? It's been averaging 4-5 drivers per event!

Ditto on the General. We got Mark to install them on just the front tires and it seems to be holding up great. Makes for a bumpy ride to and from though.
