All "pre-determined" worker positions have been filled! They are:
  • Registrar - Christine Allen
  • Tech Inspectors - Simon Wright, Dustin Fredrickson
  • Worker Coordinators - Stephen Westerfield, Anders Green
  • Timing workers - Carl Fisher, Art McDonald / Mike Whitney, Kevin Hoff
Thanks all!

I can work raw sheets. I just can't remember what class I'm in. (It's fun being a novice) .... I'm driving the Dirtmaster, if that helps.

I can also stand around and complain that it's too cold.

Also need some people to show up early - I mean EARLY - and help finish setting up the courses, mark the cone boxes with paint, set up timer, put out worker equipment, set up grid & all the other fun stuff that needs to be done.

The bus will be arriving Saturday morning, which means that none of this will be done Friday afternoon.

I did go to Mike's house & get about 30 cones, which I've already used to design the morning course - so that's done.

lunch is as usual

EARLY means when the bus gets there - Hmmm... when IS the bus getting there? I'm hoping soon after there's light outside.

People usually start showing up around 8am, with the flow increasing around 8:30 - I'd like to get started on the setup stuff around 7:00 or 7:30.

I hate to a pain in the neck but ... I was planning to get the bus there before 8, but I can't promise 7:30.

If we NEED it to be there earlier, I could probably tow the trailer down there on Friday and leave it. But that would be a PITA.

We usually finish up pretty early anyways, so why punish the poor bus driver? :( So what if FCO isn't until 10:30? :)

Mike <-- not a morning person

I hate to drag y'all back on topic, but we still need some volunteers.

Vincent, can I tap you to be the other tech guy?

Phillip Redd, if you're reading this, can you be the other worker coordinator?

Kevin Hoff, can you either work timing with Mike Whitney, or else try to switch with Simon so you do tech and he does timing?

I can do registration.

Thanks y'all!

I will volunteer Dustin for something! He will be droping me off at the airport around 7 so I bet he will head to Four Oaks right after he drops me off. So if you need help doing Tech or something I will volunteer him!

Have fun everyone I am sad that I have to go to Boston for work and miss the race! Hoepfully I won't freeze!

Sure, although I'm challenged at running the LCD box with all the false trips from dust. I'd be glad to do the computer or audit sheets.

Malia, I'll take Dustin up on your offer! :-)

Kevin H, you and Mike W can decide among yourselves what timing jobs you want.

Thanks all- we still need a worker coordinator in SO4 class!
