Can I get some volunteers for the following positions at this Saturday's event?
  • Worker Coordinators - Stephen Westerfield (still need 1 in SO2 or SO4 class)

I can be the other. I assume that this involves signing them up in the beginning, assigning positions, and then cracking the whip to get workers into the field?

You've got it, Anders. And, of course, you've got to do it twice, as everyone works both heats that they're not running. Make it clear to people that they need to check in with you the second time as well (as opposed to just going out to their posts) so you can give them credit for working. And you should let us know ASAP anyone who does not work twice so we can follow up on that, via PA, radio calls, or (if necessary) disqualification.

I'm chasing the bus down there so I'll be there early. I can help with course set up.

What kind of chalk to you use to mark the cones? :P

I'm not sure what I'm driving.
Maybe an ITR in DS.
Or half-assed STX prepped 330.

Aerosol-canned chalk. It's a special patented mix.

I hate to drag y'all back on topic, but we still need some volunteers.

Vincent, can I tap you to be the other tech guy?

Phillip Redd, if you're reading this, can you be the other worker coordinator?

Kevin Hoff, can you either work timing with Mike Whitney, or else try to switch with Simon so you do tech and he does timing?

I can do registration.

Thanks y'all!

Yes, I can take care of the other worker coordinator. I won't be near a computer anymore. Will probably be up there friday afternoon and see if I can help on course set-up.

See you.

We're usually finishing up our runs around 3.

Thanks a lot to all the workers! Especially those who helped with setup - we got everything ready waaaayyy before the drivers' meeting. And in the afternoon, you guys really made the job of switches courses easy.
