Great event!

Thanks to all who came out for our inaugural season finale! We had 39 drivers come out, making it our largest turnout ever! It also was a beautiful sunny day, something we've been blessed with a lot of this rallycross season.

Kevin made up a pair of really fun courses, and following the recent trend, the afternoon course was faster than the morning. In this case, a lot faster. Major props to Kevin for all the work he's done this year, including a ton of seat time behind the wheel of his tractor!

Thanks again to all for helping us end the season on a high note, and I'm looking forward to a great season in 2005!

Great event, great weather and great courses. What a FUN Saturday!!!! Those that are NOT participating are MISSING OUT!!!!!

Thanks to Carl and Kevin for all the hard work behind the scenes on keeping the RallyX program going forward, I look forward to 2005!!!

I had a lot of fun getting the WRX dirty (ask me if I miss the blue 2.5RS

), and just as much fun in the free BMW. :lol:

I think I'm going to get a custom license plate that says "UBERSTEER". OMG does that car rotate. There is going to be a HUGE learning curve for that car. But my goodness is it fun

And it didn't break!!

I was quite pleased that the suspension turned out so well. And 180 ft-lb torque on a RWD car is plenty

Max grip was at about 1/4 throttle - any more than that just put on a good show for the course workers (who I *heard* laughing on my first run).

Anyone have pics of the BMW in action? There are some folks on another forum who want to see it ...

I've got some pictures of the event that I'll try and post up in the next day or so. I wish I could have taken more pictures, but between working and driving each session it wasn't easy. BTW: I meant to ask you what lens were you using?

I just got a 10D and have been looking at some "L" lens

I just wanted to thank everyone that helped put on this event and especially Jim F. for letting me use his car. This was my first rallycross event and it was a lot of fun playing in the dirt.

Anyways, I'm looking forward to trying it again next year.
