I thought I'd start the ball rolling on a grass-roots (pun intended) poll to determine how often we should run the rallycrosses (provided Kevin's Mom approves and/or we can find other sites).

So vote away...

I voted for 6 times a year. But having said that I think I should point out that it will take some significant volunteering on everyones part to make that happen. Not to mention willingness of the site owner.

There are a few other site possibilities- I just need to put some time into pursuing them further (I think I've been saying that for about 6 months now)...

I'm SO in on a 4000Q. I will even store it at my house ;)

With all the other stuff I have to do, it would take either me not ever resting, or lots of help from other club members to make it happen at our place once a month... but if we have 2 or 3 sites so that I can take my time making the courses disappear, I vote once a month.

I'm always up for suggestions. Maybe a 3 way ownership of an Audi? Drive it till the wheels fall off and leave it in a field somewhere.

I'm in for everything, except leaving it at Mike Whitney's house. If we do that he'll be out there all the time improving it. Before you know it we'll own a car that is too nice to rallycross. :D

The question I have Right Now: when's the next one?

-Kevin
(the guy who was planning to run ~ 10 more autox days this year, but would now cut that number at least in half if he could trade them for rallyxes) :D [/i]

Give me a call (see my digits below) the next time you plan on working on the site. Now I know where you are I can make it over and give you a hand. Maybe I can get a box-blade for the tractor and bring it. I'm sure that will help on the work load a bit.

I'm thinking at least twice a year - maybe 6 times a year may be a bit much what with AutoX, track events, and NASA/SCCA races.....oh and keeping the home stuff in check. What about 4 events??

I had a blast on the dirt - event on tires worn past the tread markers! Can we have a slick tire class....?!

A big thanks to Kevin and family!!

Cheers, Mark
