In case you have been watching for the event to show up on Motorsportreg.com, it is now available. If you (or anyone you know) has trouble finding the event listing, try searching for Autocross/Solo and/or adding THSCC to your "Clubs" and search again.
http://www.motorsportreg.com/index.cfm/event/calendar

There is an extra $5 charge to register at the event, so feel free to preregister up until 8:00PM on the Friday before the event. That gives us time to download the registrations into the computer before leaving for setup.

Preregistration also helps speed up the morning registration and gets us driving sooner. If you have preregistered, then on the race day you only need to let the bus know that you have arrived. We may even try putting up a sign-in sheet if we get enough preregistrations.

Hope to see you at Fayetteville and perhaps at SandBlast next weekend. Remember volunteers are left to their own devices on their stages when the cars aren't running...practice your rally driving at a sane pace. Remember our rallycross courses stay well away from trees and ditches; Sandblast - not so much.

nice work, this is an easy system to use. I like that all the THSCC events filter through the motorsportsreg site to keep it consistent.

well, sorry to say I've gotta sit the first one out...again....due to a family function. next time! ya'll stay filthy out there.

Since many of our participants don't have access to this forum should I send everyone another email explaining how MSR will be used for signup the rest of the year?

That would be greatly appreciated Michael. I'm busy cramming for my AX Ware test at the first event.

I'm going to have to register onsite, as I won't know until the morning of the event if I'll be able to attend. The rest of the year looks good, though.

Okay, I sent out an announcement showing how to sign up for the event. I can also help with Xware at the actual race.

SU2 is listed twice (and NO2 isn't listed. It'd be nice if the TLAs were there :-))

Also, how am I to use my raffle loot?

[4400 will put the X in the right spot. http://goo.gl/maps/xrpYS]

You mean "The ska band TLA [11] from Dunedin, New Zealand, uses "TLA" to mean "two-letter acronym"?

??? I'm talking about mreg listing the three-letter-codes [N or S][O or U][2 or 4] not the full Queen's English that's there now. Autocross, time trial, and race classes use letter/number codes; why can't rally?

Simple answer is that Rallycross VPs didn't set up MSR....yet
We're working on straightening that out. But first I need to make sure that the MSR downloaded registrations will integrate properly into AXWare timing software (so that someone doesn't have to enter all the registration info manually at the event. Manual entry takes a lot of valuable time.

With the NCCAR autox happening the week before us, they should have the bugs worked out for ya'. :-) (if they bother to tell you, that is.)

Already requested a copy of their event registration to practice next week. Mostly I worry that the classes will import with the "wordy" classes. Never let it be said that being the registrar is an easy job, Zach and James have been very helpful in setting up the site, but there are always teething issues.
