"Just say NO"
Actually we are almost ready to post the schedule. Sadly the Autocross folks are having trouble setting their schedule and we just heard back from Wilson this week. The owner of Fayetteville has been sick for about 2 weeks and we have a call scheduled for tomorrow.
One topic for tomorrow's chat is a March 9th event in Fayetteville. Wilson has no openings in March and we wanted to wait until after SandBlast Rally for our event, and March 22 is the Street Survival. If the autocrossers choose their typical 3rd weekend schedule we will be golden on the 9th.
More importantly, is your car ready to go racing?

Like I've been saying for years... schedule the rallyx BEFORE the rally. If there was a rallyx the weekend before Sandblast, I'd be there doing shakedown. The weekend after, nope. Would feel pathetic doing a rallyx right after a rally.

The Forester will be returning for Rallycross, but as is usually the case, I'm on-call March 9th so I probably won't get to come.

Already trying to swap on-call schedules. I've also decided to maybe just bring my laptop and risk getting called.

I traded the '94 Miata (that ran) I was going to use for a 2000 Special Edition Miata that doesn't run. The plan is to fix up the 2000, make it look nice and sell it for much more than than I'll have invested in it.

Then I'll use THAT money to buy another NA Miata, suspension components, a hard top and a roll bar.

I hope that there are a few folks out there who are helping recruit new participants. If you know someone who would like to come out to their first event in Fayetteville you may want to remind them that driving directions on Google are incorrect.

From I-95 take NC 87 (exit 46) toward Elizabethtown. At the first traffic signal, turn right onto Doc Bennett Road. The track will be on the left just before crossing I-95. If you follow Internet maps, you will probably still get there, but it will be "scenic". We didn't plan it this way just to make it a rally.

Sometime this week registration should be up on Motorsportreg.com; http://www.motorsportreg.com/index.cfm/event/calendar Navigate to our event by selecting RallyCross. If you prepay the event is $35, $40 at the event.

With registrations taking place on motorsportreg.com are we not going to use the calendar at thscc.com? I've been contacted a couple of times about the rally schedule from people who've come to the website and seen nothing listed.
