Season Points Standings going into the LAST RACE!!

OK, boys and girls, the preliminary results are tabulated below (subject to audit by a non-drinking member). OK, I really am sober, but tired.
NO2 is uncontested, except that Drew has a first place in NO2 and one in SU2 so really needs to pick one and excel.
NO4 is all Jeremy if he can manage to place next Sunday.
Jan and Michael are actually tied for Second, but Michale is one event less than Jan so gets the nod for participation/spirit.
SO4 is Scott, but Brett has a chance to bump him off with a good finish.
SU2 is Charlie, Vincent has second unless Drew comes back with a SU2 ride and another great finish.

How are the points working? I have one 1st place and one 2nd place out of three races, and I missed one race.

Points work by finish position.
10 for first
8 for 2nd
6 for 3rd
5 for 4th
4 for 5th
3 for 6th
2 for 7th
1 for attendance

We had one driver with 2 events with 2 first place finishes in 2 different classes who has chaired an event that is a puzzle that remains to be solved.

I missed a race too, in order to attend a wedding, so maybe we should drop the lowest score :-)

. The problem is we had so few races it's hard to justify dropping one.

Jeremy, I tried to steal some points for you in NO4, but Jan secretly had me moved to SO4 so he could get first place.

I would've said, "NOPE." but he's an old fart, and it made him really happy, so I let him have it. :lol:
