The autocross folks are trying to squeeze in another September race, and want to see if we can move the September Rallyx #2 from 9/15 to 9/22.

The Fayetteville Motor Speedway is available, but I want to make sure that a last minute change wouldn't ruin the turnout...

So vote, and let us know.

Thanks,

Black River Stages is Sept 21-22. The 15th would be a good test day for that. The 22nd wouldn't.

Rallyx vp's need to research the dates of the stage rallies a little bit next year, and try to schedule the rallyxes around the stage rallies, preferably a week or two before them, and then "market" the rallyx as a test day. (using specialstage and facebook)

But I'm sure you'll end up moving it for the autoxers, so nevermind.

Thanks, that's a good idea. Where can I get a list of the stage rallies our member are likely to attend?

indeed, if we can drag in the NASA crowd, that would be awesome. On youtube, I have told the vw tdi club page, that we need people to come race. I can spread the word on youtube to NASA maybe, we need as many cars as we can get.. If we have to turn away cars, that would be a improvement over what is right now happening. 8)

dirtyimpreza.com too. they are all rally subaru cars . so getting them in would be hot stuff.

magnum opus, mr hollands opus? we had a neighbor with a dog named opus, not the brightest dog though.I emailed Anders and Rally america people to come to our event, sorta inviting them to come. I do hope this solves our problem somewhat.Real cars, real fields, real fast. ready to get sideways?

To add to Greg's post, Liz and I spectated at STPR (Rally America) this year, and plan to compete next year. Even if we're not competing in a rally, we're generally going to choose to spectate/volunteer/crew at a rally over going to a rallyx. But if you schedule the rallyxes a week or two before the rallies, we'll be there making sure the car is ready.

OK guys, thanks for your input. Given all of the factors we decided to keep the same race date. We actually did take into account Lemons and Chump car races when coming up with the dates back in January. For next year, we'll let the rally VPs know to include the stage rallies as well.

What makes you think you won't remember next year (future VP)?

The club doesn't want me for a VP for next year, because I'm responsible for all of the rain that canceled almost all of our races.
