... helped us push the car back over onto its wheels.

Oh and thanks Kevin for shoveling up all the glass.

Yes, it does happen.

And no, no one was hurt. And yes, the car will be at the event on the 22nd.

So what does the "Pizzabox rental contract" say about repairs? Peter, I hope you sprung for the optional damage contract! :)

On the bright side we did find a pair of pliers that Mike had been missing since one of the rally beater work days.

We also found some acorns that some squirrel had apparently stashed in the car. If you had your nuts in the rallybeater they have been planted by Peter at the Allen's rally cross site.

hi guys, i was reading a thing in GRM, that said: there are those who've rolled, and those who will,....

a article in GRM about rally racing.. saying things happen.about rolling hte car, i did not intend for that to happen, get a lil hairy perhaps.. but not upside down, i am ok, no aches or none, (only thing hurt is my pride.... wait, i have no pride) :-)

with your approval, i am planning to attend the 22nd event. i haev someone coming to replace the windscreen tomorrow, dont know what time, he will call me.

Note to the rest of you: That quote is about rally racing, not rallycross. Rolling vehicles is not a normal occurence at rallycross events, as it is not at autocrosses! Though obviously, given the wrong set of circumstances, it can happen.

In rally, only normal safety glass windshields are allowed. Polycarbonate is allowed for the smaller side windows. The reason is that the structure of two layers of glass with that incredible laminate inbetween is really an amazing piece of safety material.

I would strongly discourage any thoughts of a polycarbonate windshield.

I have a few more pictures, but none of the roll in progress. I was too busy standing there with my mouth open.

I'll post the others tonight.
