Wilson June 9 Rallyx -- RAIN CANCELATION and POLL

Sorry everyone, the race in Wilson on Sunday is canceled because of heavy rain yesterday, today, and expected rain tomorrow. Sunday is predicted to be ok, but the accumulated rainfall is too much. Rally racing is hard on the course, and we don't want to wear out our welcome.

Charlie and I will at least talk about getting another race on the schedule since that would be 2 races canceled out of only 6. There are races scheduled for Sep, Oct, and Nov, which only leaves us July and August as options for extra races. We didn't schedule any summer races because so many people are on vacation and its so damn hot, so please let us know if you're inclined to race before the next scheduled event in September.

I thought this might be the case. If we get the amount of predicted rain here in Wilson I would expect it to be postponed at the very least.

Ya looks like there is a ton of rain to be coming in. Sucks but we have to protect this place for us.

Yeah, I was really looking forward to seeing how my car handles with -2 of camber instead of +3 on the front wheels.

Not to mention the new timing belt courtesy of Janko.

The Super Beetle is CRAVING another chance to run! I would even do it instead of an autocross! I have been reading about driving old Porsche 911s, so maybe I will cut down on the spins!

bummed that it got called off but i completely understand. can't risk those venues! now i'm even more pissed i missed the last one.

i'm up for either July or August but prefer July.

I will be ready in the old nissan, or wrx. Either one, wilson right? Fayetteville will be the nissan.Wilson I may bring the mud missile out too.
