OK, guys, its time for someone to step up and help us put together the next rallyx race! As perks you get to set up the track, and um, you know, test it to make sure its safe, as well as the ever-lasting thanks for your fellow racers. The VPs typically run the computers and setup the timing equipment, while the chair arranges to get the bus there and back.

PLUS... if you're planning on going to the next race, now's the time to sign up. There's only a few people listed as of today!

We have a volunteer! The Janco team has stepped up to the plate to chair this event.

There is a disturbing trend the past few years for events to be on the weekends I am on-call for work. There isn't much anybody can do about that, it is just bad luck.

Somebody needs to post up that video of Les taking his SVT Mustang around Wilson to show everybody that you can pretty much drive any car you wish there without risking much more damage than maybe a few paint chips.

i actually searched yout00b for wilson videos before my first rallyx (to check out the terrain for fear of breaking my DD) and that exact one pushed me over the edge to do it. if a street-prepped pony car can get out there, drive around, and have fun, i have no excuse with my subaru not to do it.

Here ya go, street cars at Rallyx. Besides a MINI and Mustang, there was a Porsche at Orange County two years ago.

I'd say the worst thing that came of that day was a dusty engine bay. Paint was already imperfect on the car and I don't think it was any worse for wear afterward.
