Thanks to the Guthries and Rallycross VPs for a great July 8. What an fun course! You could actually do the whole thing without hitting the brake :-)

The Wilson site was an amazingly good time yet again. I really appreciate Charlie chairing the event, including driving the tractor in 104 degree heat to put the dirt back where it came from.

It looks like we're off from the heat in August, but I hope to see everyone in September at NCCAR. That site was flat, fun, and fast, but they need to be persuaded to grow a little grass.

Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures being too busy with the 3 novices in my car.

Maybe you could, but I couldn't, unless I coasted a lot, and I don't do that.

I had about as much fun this time with the 140hp wagon as I did with the 350hp STi last time. I think the gravel was a lot looser this time.

We're probably going to cancel the NCCAR rallyx in September, since Sebastian doesn't want to go back, most of the people I've heard from don't plan to go back, and I don't want to drive that far to be there with 5 other people, blowing lots of the club's money.

It was a little dusty, but the course was fast and fun. Hell, even the heat wasn't too bad.

Cheezeburger, how the hell could you drive the whole course w/o using the brake? I had to LFB the entire course just to keep the tail behind the General Lei. The last turn on the afternoon course was a 90 degree corner so how could you make it without using some brake?

That was just a little exaggeration. :-) The course on average required less braking than usual.

I have an excel file with classes and overalls. whoever sends me their email address will get a copy of it.

Carl may be able to post it on the results page; finding out later.

Send webmaster@thscc.com the Excel and I'll see what I can do. Seb or Kevin, get in touch with me, will you please, and I'll show you how to use the software we have to do scoring. It works very well and results are easy.

The course was very fast. I had to brake hard many t imes.. sometimes in completely straight line to get it slowed for a corner... I liked it though, my kind of course.
On the limit driving style, nothing technical... Simply go for it style course.
