Details I can share right now:

Peter "rooster tail" Baio and myself are co-chairing.

Limit of 24 students

Entry fee $30

Students will get lots of seat time on at least one course, most likely timed. There will also be tips on car setup, coursewalking, etc.

Instructors will get fun runs in the afternoon while the students work, as well as runs in the morning to get used to the course before instructing. (duh) Students will be encouraged to ride along with instructors in the afternoon, so hopefully some will be working while the others are riding.

Right now, the only way to get test & tune runs is to instruct. Don't know if that will change.

We only have a few instructors confirmed at this point, so if you want to instruct, let me know asap. I have a list of names that I'll be asking to help via pm.

Kinda busy this week, so be patient & I'll let you know what's going on as soon as I can.

Later.

OK this should be fun, which IMO is what Rally-X is all about.

Instructor's speech at the drivers meeting.....

"Ok boys and girls, today we are going to learn how to drive in the dirt.

Rule #1. Keep your foot on the accelerator at all times.

Rule #2. Do your best to keep the back end of the car behind you.

Rule #3. Don't ask Anders where the course is. He's a driver, not a navigator."

You've got to specialize if you hope to get anywhere. ;)

You guys would plan this just when I need to get my mower deck back. I've been putting off coming to get it as I don't have a particularly good way to do it.

Mike could you give me a call when you get about 5 minutes?
(919) 602-3433

Thanks!
