what up...
for those of you who use espn3.com to watch stuff they won't show on tv, this weekend is the first pro rallycross race of the season out in Irwindale cali. I am watching the qualifying right now... This is the same event series that was in New Jersey last year. MJ is out there in a white RX-8 #46...

Matthew Johnson conjured up an RX-8 somehow and made a pretty good showing, taking 2nd place in the 2WD class to Dillon Van Way in the turbo Focus. Unfortunately MJ stalled at the line on the 2nd run giving Dillon the win.

Next round tomorrow at 4pm, also on ESPN3. I think I heard them say the event would be on ESPN TV at 10pm on April 17...

Yeah! MJ wins the A Main today, making him the 1st 2WD Global Rallycross Championship winner! :clap:

Johnson looked really good tonight. That wreck on the next to last lap between the EG civic hatch and the Focus was nasty

Yeah it was. It looked like the steering must have broken on the Civic cuz it was running hard against the barrier until it knocked into the end of one which kicked it out into Van Way's Focus...
