I spoke to someone at the last RallyX of 2010 here at the BMW farm about a 325iX they had recently purchased. My crap memory can't remember who it was- so, if you are that person, or you know that person, please PM or email me if you're interested in selling that car, I need a 325iX parts car.

Thanks!

Bret.

Everyone with a BMW needs their own parts car. :P

Sorry, it's been at least week and nobody has dangled the hook in front of me. :D

The guys name was Brett Murphy. He actually sold it to another rallyxer last year I think. it was at the rallyx the other weekend. It ran the morning heat but the negative batt. Cable came completely off and he had issues. Had to get it towed.

well, DUH...... I can't remember his name because it sounds the same as mine, even though he spells it wrong!! I now remember chatting with him at the last 2010 RallyX while we were working the course.

Well, if anyone sees/talks to the new owner of the 325iX, let him know I would be interested in buying it for parts if it's gotten to that point- or I could help him out with some parts to fix it if he needs anything.

Azeem Ansari bought an E30 325IX for rallyx. I don't know if he's run it yet, though he did autox it at the triad event at the end of last year.

Thanks for looking out for me guys. I actually spoke to the seller of that car earlier today. It seems like a decent car but he just recently bought it from a mini-storage auction and he doesn't have a title, doesn't have keys- so he doesnt' know if/how it runs and if/when he'll ever get clear title to it. Still might be a good parts car, unless it's totally busted underneath.

BTW- with the help of Mitch Moore, I connected with the current owners of the 325iX that started this whole thread and it's now part of my collection and currently being parted out.
