we found out the problem. we threw a belt on the alternator.. running the car off the battery and essentially a plug in hybrid.. haahahha. 2nd place and no alternator. look for a hopefully repaired and fully functional nissan at ocs.

or may have been thrown out

This thread can close - Pete and I are planning to chair the event. Think Pirate themed event (no, not the ECU kind of pirate, the real Pirates from North Carolina not Pittsburgh).
The wife and I just got back from Ocracoke Island the location of Blackbeard's last battle, and alas, his death. There should be more than one double cross at this event.

Hey guys we need more registrants. If we cant get 20 by Saturday before the race we'll have to add $5 to the registration fee.

OK, here's the drill. If we have a minimal number of participants and need to charge an extra $5 to cover the track rental that will mean that there are fewer people running. If we have a low turnout, we may be able to increase the number of "practice" runs. (The timing & scoring system can only track 3 runs in the morning and 3 in the afternoon so practice runs have to be deleted in the system.)
We will also keep in mind that there will be fewer available course workers to shag cones so you may find it more difficult to hit cones (or find any to hit). (Anyway, that's our goal.)

Good point Charlie! If we do happen to have a small turnout and a $5 increase we'll def. try our best to make it worth the $ with more runs and such.
