I consider this the correct forum, since it would be used for the rallycar:

- Do we have any vendors that can do simple metal fabrication on a car? This would include skid plates simple metal bending/fabrication?

Thanks, guys!

What all do you need done?

Ive got a friend who ran his side business of metal fabbing and such (not a sponsor). but now he's working full time at another job and i dont know what his schedule is like. i can ask him.

he had some aluminum that i used for my skid plate and he also rigged up my Harbor Freight trailer.

1. Skid plate that will clear Borlas (don't have a choice)

2. Interior plate that bolts into where the rear seat used to go.

These would need to be finished on the edges, so as to not cut hands/interior/people, and finished not to rust.

Aluminum doesn't seem like the material I would choose for the application (bending will be required) , but that is what I am looking for.

I needed some brackets bent up to mount my buckets in the Miata. Mark at PC pointed me at Fabco Industries.

They did exactly what I needed at what I'd consider a fair price. They have a very considerable shop that should be able to handle almost any job. Not sure if they do work directly on cars but it wouldn't hurt to give them a call and see what they can do for you.
