For some reason there was a Subaru event two blocks from my house on Saturday, and we both entered our clunkers. Mine, the DIRTBOMB, still covered in dirt from the last rallycross, and hers, a moderately rusty 19 year old Loyale with a giant canoe on the top.

While the big prizes went to the shiny new cars with lots of mods, we both got the only two special awards, which included free car washes for some reason:

It was a hoot, and there was good representation from the Subaru contingent in the rallycross program.

I'm still upset you didn't take one of the top 3 spots. Your car was the o ly one there that was in true fashion. Other than Petes car, I think yours was probably the only other one that's ever been muddy. I wouldnt be surprised if that was the first time most of those cars have ever been on grass. Hahah.

Good job!!

Thanks Kourosh. It was a hoot just to drive around our green where cars aren't normally allowed.

@Andrew Cool pic, I've got to use that again.

The "Poser" poster was immediately added to my scrolling screen saver collection at work. Great message!

i pulled my own "poser" poster at crabtree after a rallyx last year. parked next to a big truck that looked spotless. i took a pic with my phone, ive got to find it. it made me smile.

haha

I need to find the original. My google-fu is kind of crappy when it comes to finding awesome images that I know exist.

Did you see them all driving down the sidewalk so they wouldn't have to go over the curb? I don't they'd be good rallycross candidates.
