we had good luck with scirocco wheels, on the toyota.
the were aluminum. but they were heavy and strong.You could hit them with a bat and not hurt them.Aluminum is good cast. alloy or al , otherwise the steel will only work for a while. we popped so many steelies we have not liked them much.. except for spares, to get home on. Aftermarket is still the way to go on wheels.CL or NASIOC is the way to go.

Seriously, I think the Cadillac wheels are pretty strong. I didn't weigh them without tires, but a 1990's Cadillac had to weigh over 5,000 lbs. I found it amazing they fit so well on the Laser.

I checked and the car's curb weigh was 3990. We'll probably break a rim now!
