Hey Rallycrossers we need to ask everyone to watch for alerts regarding this weekend's OCS Rally-X. I spoke with the track supervisor today and conditions are quite wet/muddy at the moment. In an attempt to mow yesterday, they almost got the tractor stuck. If we continue to get more rain before Sunday the track management may ask us not to run. Their plan is to re-seed the area this fall and they want to avoid having to grade over deep ruts.
I will speak with Kim, the track manager again tomorrow for an update on conditions. We have secured Aug. 8 as a rain date in case this event does not go forward.
PLEASE check back on the Forum on Saturday to check the event status. We really, really want to hold this event and will do it if at all possible. We are in the hands of the Almighty and the track management, so pray if you do so.
