anyone know if the jetta diesel runs. there is a jetta diesel at brets place.
early pre tdi days. just diesel... anyone know if it runs or not.. right now the toyota is dead.. if i could rallycross the vw, then i could have a car.the results should be up rather soon..we forgot the computer in the bus, so it will take time to process the results.. however they should be up soon.Eventually, there is a small chance my old nissan may ride again as a rally car.(fingers crossed) And Chris, dont worry about your finger, I graduated high school with six stitches in my left hand from some glass!

I forwarded the results to our webmaster late Wed night after the club meeting. The club laptop was left on the bus in error so the information was inaccessible.

Ask Brett himself about it. You can send him a message on this board.

What broke on the Dirtmaster?

And why not keep racing your WRX? Or are you afraid of what Charlie might do to it if you let him drive it too? ;)

Charlie will NOT be allowed in the WRX!!!
And I believe that the Dirtmaster stoped smoking due to low oil level and then oil starved in the giant sweeper. Serious knocking ensued.

We heard it knocking as you came through the crossover, and we wondered if it was a bad exhaust leak, or something internal - it was hard to hear over the exhaust note. Then when it seemed to lose power after the sweeper, we were like "uh oh"... Did it lose power, or did you back out of it because you heard it knocking?

...and the General Lei keeps on going, and going, and going. :D I still say it's the best car ever.

PS. Charlie, we burn a little oil in the General too, but since we CHECK the level OFTEN it still runs. Hint, Hint! :P

Oh sweet! I did end up narrowly with the FTC on the morning course thanks to Kourosh's cone. Well, that and an absurd power to weight ratio. :D

Oops, I see I made a booboo- looks like Jeremy actually had FTC1. (Sadly, the software gets the FTs wrong a lot of the time and I have to check behind it. I missed that one.) I'll update the results tonight.

Interesting that Kourosh and Jan shared FTC2, tying to the thousandth...

Ooops. We forgot to make a correction to the results it looks like. In SU2, Chris B and Mitch Moore's times need to be switched.
