The competition was great fun -- 0.002 seconds over 6 combined runs? That's gotta be the closest we've ever had. Nice driving Brian! I'm sure that if you didn't have Baby Brain going on you would have easily taken the win

No. That was all I had. The better driver won! Good job, Whitney!

And, thank you to everyone, including the site owner who helped weld a shifter back together  !

It was a great weekend, and I hope this continues through out the year!

We took some video on Marek's Flip camera, so hopefully there's some footage of people catching air at the "crossover".

Finally got the videos uploaded. They focus on our red Audi (and a whole lotta dust), so may not be of interest to everyone, but I did get a few minutes of other cars. There may be a couple of them catching air, or at least rattling around at the crossover, esp. the white Laser. There was no editing done, so there's probably 15 minutes of action in 30 minutes of video.

There's a cool optical illusion in a couple of places, where it looks like the front tires of the Audi are not spinning. (I wish my bad time was an optical illusion.)

Cosby has changed jobs and got married recently.

I am trying to bring him back to events, but he had injured his hand this past week (his 34th birthday), and didn't want to do a rallyX in that situation.

He will be back, at some point.

What I really like about these videos is that you can see a chronology of the courses (which became one course). See how all the turns were nice, tight, and non-dusty on day one. See by the end of day one it was starting to get dusty. Then, for those who were there on day two, you know what the course was like.

Overall, for the number of runs we put on the course, I think the BMW farms held up well.

What day was your run on the video? The speed you got around that turn at the end of the fence line speeding back towards the middle of the field was really fast. I remember having to slow to a crawl to get through it without sliding off course.

these vids were from Saturdays test and tune, afternoon session when we combined both courses.

ive got another batch ive gotta convert and upload so perhaps there's a vid of your car.

if you're talking about the section towards the back, where it turned into a sandbox during sundays race, well, on saturday i was just trying random things. what I did was flatfoot it all the way and turned it extra early, sometimes you'll catch it just right and glide right through.

but on sunday, i couldnt do that. it was a slow corner.

or are you talking about another corner?
