Hello again,
Surely some of you know we have a race on Sunday the 21st. Please pre-register so we can go through with the race.

If you prepay AND preregister, then we'll knock $5 off the admission price.

Kevin Allen and Micheal Czeiszperger are the Chairs for this event.

see ya on the 21st

I had posted when Pete asked before in a different thread:

The Audi has a broken aluminum motor mount bracket, which sheared off a bolt in the block. It doesn't look like we'll be able to get it fixed before the event at Kevin's. We'll be aiming for the April event.

Sorry that Marek and I can't make it. I hope you guys get enough folks to have it!!!

I have a spare tie-down strap that Matthew Johnson left in my field after a practice day. Also have some heat-shielding we could put between that and the engine, in case you don't want a fire.

Hey, that's what I'd try...

:D

The cast aluminum oil pan is resting on the subframe crossmember, otherwise we'd chance it. :)

My tires are on their last legs and I need those legs for the 28th's circuit cross so I thought I'd give a rallycross a try. How is this location in terms of ruts and large rocks etc given I have no skid plate.

Plenty of ruts, but it is very sandy.

It's totally up to you how your car fares. You can drive like an idiot and break things, or drive like you care about your car and have no problems. Come see me for some tips before we start. It's a little more complicated than autox.

Can the bus stay at Kevin's after the event so I can pick it up on Friday and take it to Laurinburg? And can I leave the truck there over the weekend. (I think I can find my way back now that I've been there)

Thanks
Rob

I really doubt that.

As for leaving buses and trucks here, no problem.
