Ok people. our first RallyX is scheduled for Feb. 14th.

Pre-reg is up and we are offering $5 off if you preregister and prepay before the event.

http://www.thscc.com/rallycross/prereg_rallyx.html

We still need an event Chair. We want to get the word out. We have a month to get 25 people signed up. So tell your friends and keep that date open.

reg and pay at event is $35. YOU MUST ALSO PRE-PAY to get the $5 off.

Ya, well like the webmaster needs to be told what the event schedule is. I got the traffic today about the RX sched, but we don't have the AX yet, and it also takes a while to get the new pages ready.

I'll let y'all know when it's up.

Will it be $5 off since I'm a member and then another $5 off for pre-paying?

Alas, no. We are operating at or below the break-even point in the rally-x program and can't really afford to discount the entry fees. In an attempt to incentivize early registration and payment, we are offering a $5 discount for pre-registration/prepayment in an effort to get people to sign up early so that we don't find ourselves canceling an event due to low registration numbers.
Just as a comparison on event fees, the SCCA DC region charges $60 per event, and Disney World is $79 :D

Preregistration should be up now. The info page is just a template now, but we don't have any info yet anyway. That will get filled in soon, but with the event coming up soon I thought it better to get it online fast.

We're doing a little bit different behind the scenes this year, so please email webmaster@thscc.com if you see any errors or weird behavior.

Thanks!

I'm in. I used the Jedi Mind Trick to get approval to go play in the dirt on February 14th, WHICH -- not only is Feb 14th Valentine's Day, but it is ALSO my daughter's 3rd birthday AND my in-laws are going to be in town.

I need to bottle and sell this Mind Trick stuff. I'll be a millionaire.

See you guys on the 14th. I need to see if I can find my rally tires....

Anyone looking for a seat? Depending on the person :), I'd be willing to have a co-driver (first timers only need apply).

I'm a first-timer - can I co-drive with you, Mike?

:D

But seriously, I just have a big, heavy, turbo-laggy WRX with all-seasons now, so given the opportunity to drive your OBS on rally tires, I'd choose that. What's the co-drive deal?

If you beat me, you have to pay me $100. If I beat you, the co-drive is free ;) ;)
